Dense grade sodium carbonate, 99.2% minimum. The dense grade flows and handles better than light ash and is what most industrial users want.
Typical uses
- pH adjustment and alkalinity control in water and wastewater — it buffers, where caustic simply raises
- Builder in powdered detergent and cleaner formulations
- Neutralising acidic waste streams without overshooting
- Precipitating hardness and heavy metals in treatment systems
Why choose it over caustic
Soda ash gives a slower, more forgiving pH rise. In a system where an operator is dosing manually, or where overshoot causes a downstream problem, that forgiveness is worth more than caustic’s efficiency. It is also considerably safer to handle.
Store dry and sealed — it cakes when it takes up moisture.
