Permitted space is the hard part
Anyone can rent a warehouse. Renting a warehouse that is permitted, contained, segregated, and staffed by people trained to handle regulated chemical is a much shorter list — and building one yourself is a capital project with a permitting timeline attached.
Our Arleta and Anaheim facilities already are that. If your requirement is chemical storage rather than general warehousing, that distinction is most of the value.
What the service covers
- Warehousing. Segregated storage by compatibility class, with containment and inventory control.
- Repackaging. Bulk receipt broken down to totes, drums, pails, or small pack — with your label if you want it.
- Inventory management. Stock held and released against your schedule, with visibility into what is on hand.
- Just-in-time delivery. Product held here and delivered to your line as it is needed, rather than occupying your floor.
- Consolidated shipping. Your stored inventory delivered alongside your chemical order on the same truck.
- Container management. Returnable containers tracked, collected, cleaned, and reconciled without a phone call each cycle.
Who uses it
Manufacturers who have run out of permitted floor space and would rather not extend the building. Importers who need a West Coast staging point without establishing a facility. Blenders who need overflow capacity during a seasonal peak. And customers who simply want the drum to arrive on the day it is needed instead of six weeks early.
What we will tell you honestly
If your product is non-hazardous, non-regulated, and low-value, a general 3PL will almost certainly store it cheaper than we will. Our cost structure reflects permitted chemical storage, and paying for that when you do not need it is waste.
We would rather say that at the quote stage than have you discover it a year in.
What the facilities can do
Segregated storage
Acids away from caustics, oxidizers away from organics, flammables in rated storage. Incompatibility is the incident nobody plans for.
Bulk to pack
Receive a tanker, ship totes, drums, pails, or cases. Break bulk once, here, rather than repeatedly on your floor.
Private label
Label design, printing, and application in-house, so stored product ships in your branding.
Own fleet
Delivery on our trucks with hazmat-endorsed drivers, on the same routes as our chemical distribution.
