Chemical arrives, gets used, and something leaves — spent solution, rinsate, empty containers, off-spec product, or the residue of a process change. For most plants that outbound half is handled by a completely separate vendor on a completely separate schedule.
We run both. The truck that brings your delivery can take the empties and the manifested waste back on the same route, which means one schedule, one invoice, and one company accountable for the whole cycle.
Waste transportation
Hazardous and non-hazardous waste collected under manifest and delivered to a permitted facility. You receive the signed manifest copies the collection generates — keep them, because they are the record that the material left your site properly and they are the first document an inspector asks for.
New waste streams need a profile before the first collection. That generally means sampling and laboratory characterisation, so allow time for it rather than discovering the requirement on the day the drum needs to move.
Unknown and orphan containers
A drum nobody can identify is one of the most common calls we take. Do not open it, do not move it further than necessary to make the area safe, and do not trust the label — labels routinely outlive their contents.
We sample and characterise it, then handle disposal under the correct profile. This is unglamorous work and it is frequently the reason a facility passes an inspection it would otherwise have failed.
Decontamination and demolition support
Tank cleaning, line flushing, equipment decontamination, and support for demolition where chemical residues are involved. If a process is being decommissioned or a building is coming down, the chemical history of the site is usually the part that complicates the schedule.
Emergency response
The emergency line is answered 24 hours a day. Depending on the situation and the location, that can mean technical guidance over the phone, an on-site response crew, containment and cleanup, characterisation of what was released, and transport of the resulting waste under manifest.
We respond for our own customers and, where capacity allows, for organisations we do not currently supply.
What we collect and handle
If a stream is not listed here, ask. The answer is usually yes, and where it is no we will tell you who does handle it.
Spent process solutions
Exhausted plating baths, spent etchant, used cleaners, and rinsate from surface finishing and electronics operations.
Empty containers
Drums, pails, totes, and IBCs. Drained, closed, and with labels intact — an unreadable label turns a container into an unknown.
Off-spec and expired product
Material that failed inspection, aged past its useful life, or was left behind by a process change nobody documented.
Treatment sludge
Filter cake and dewatered sludge from wastewater treatment, profiled and manifested to a permitted facility.
Non-hazardous streams
Not everything is hazardous, and paying hazardous rates for a non-hazardous stream is a common and expensive mistake. Characterisation settles it.
Unknowns
The drum in the back corner that predates everyone currently employed. We sample it, identify it, and profile it for disposal.
Before you call, if it is safe
Call first and gather details while you are on the phone. Do not delay the call to complete this list.
Move people
Away from the area and upwind. Everything else is secondary to this.
Stop the source
Only if it can be done without exposure. A larger spill is better than an injured person.
Add nothing
No water, no neutraliser, no absorbent, unless the safety data sheet specifically directs it.
Have the sheet ready
The responder will ask for the product, the quantity, and the location. The SDS answers most of the rest.
