Anhydrous citric acid in granular form, food grade and USP.
Typical uses
- Dry blending into powdered cleaners and descalers
- Food and beverage acidulation
- Batch make-up of passivation and cleaning solutions
- Effervescent formulations, paired with bicarbonate
Anhydrous or monohydrate
Anhydrous is the more concentrated form and is the usual choice for dry blending, where the water of hydration in the monohydrate would cause caking or premature reaction. Monohydrate is available on request if your formulation specifies it.
Both are hygroscopic. Store sealed and dry — an open bag will cake.
