Twenty-five percent caustic is a dilution of the 50% solution, made to order in Arleta and released against a Certificate of Analysis.
Why buy it diluted
Two reasons come up repeatedly. First, 25% does not crystallise at the temperatures an unheated outdoor tank reaches in a Southern California winter, so it stays pumpable without heat tracing. Second, it removes the dilution step from your operation — caustic dilution is strongly exothermic and is a common source of burns and equipment damage when done without proper controls.

- pH control where the dosing system is sized for a dilute feed
- Smaller treatment systems that cannot safely handle 50%
- Sites without the containment or heating for concentrated caustic
Custom concentrations
We blend to other concentrations on request. If your system is designed around a specific strength, tell us the target and we will make it and certify it rather than have you dilute on site.
