Most customers who switch do so because a customer specification forced it \u2014 and then find the waste treatment savings alone justified the change.<\/p>\n<h2>Typical operating conditions<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Concentration:<\/strong> 3\u20138% by volume<\/li>\n<li><strong>pH:<\/strong> 1.8\u20132.2<\/li>\n<li><strong>Temperature:<\/strong> 70\u2013100&nbsp;\u00b0F<\/li>\n<li><strong>Immersion:<\/strong> 30\u201360 seconds<\/li>\n<li><strong>Substrate:<\/strong> acid and alkaline zinc, zinc-nickel, zinc-iron<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Finish and performance<\/h2>\n<p>Produces a clear to blue iridescent finish. Salt spray performance is specification-dependent \u2014 tell us the requirement you are being held to and we will tell you honestly whether CF-1 meets it on your substrate, rather than after you have converted the line.<\/p>\n<h2>Line trials<\/h2>\n<p>We support conversion with a line trial and panel testing before you commit a production tank.
