A drum stored in an unheated space in winter may arrive or become solid. That is normal and it can be re-liquefied with gentle warming, but plan storage accordingly.<\/p>\n<p>It is combustible, with a flash point around 39&nbsp;\u00b0C (103&nbsp;\u00b0F). Treat it as both a corrosive and a flammable liquid \u2014 many people handle only the first hazard and are surprised by the second.<\/p>\n<p>Use 316 stainless, glass, or appropriate plastics. Vapour is irritating and the odour is detectable far below hazardous concentrations, so a strong smell is not necessarily an emergency \u2014 but it does mean check the ventilation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Glacial acetic acid, 99.5% minimum.
