Contact with organic material \u2014 wood, cloth, solvents, even a cardboard pallet soaked with it \u2014 can ignite.<\/p>\n<p>Store on non-combustible surfaces with dedicated secondary containment. Do not store on or near wooden pallets. Do not use organic absorbents in a spill kit intended for nitric.<\/p>\n<p>Use 304L or 316L stainless, glass, or PTFE. It attacks most other metals and all common elastomers.<\/p>\n<h2>Compatibility<\/h2>\n<p>Incompatible with organics, alcohols, acetic acid, reducing agents, and metal powders.
